Dr. Avi Ben Zeev

Avi has a Yale PhD in Cognitive Psychology and has published numerous research articles and books about stereotyping, implicit bias, belonging, and the “Speaking Truth to Empower” EDI intervention. His research on stereotype threat was selected for the Women and Public Policy Program’s Gender Action Portal at Harvard University (gap.hks.harvard.edu).

Avi is also an award-winning writer (Birkbeck MFA in Creative Writing) who weaves real-life storytelling into his trainings and workshops. He won the 2024 London Independent Short Story Prize and was shortlisted for the 2023 Oxford Flash Fiction Prize.

Dr. Mark Thompson is a Chartered Psychologist specialising in athlete stress appraisals and emotion. Mark’s PhD from the University of Hull measures the impact of stress appraisal and emotion on athlete performance.

Mark has published over 12 peer-reviewed articles on stress appraisal, emotions, learning, and resilience, including: Pleasant emotions widen thought-action repertoires, develop long-term resources, and improve reaction-time performance: A multi-study examination of Broaden-and-Build theory within sporting populations in the field-leading Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology.

Mark has also developed research & training for the International Olympic Committee & World Anti-Doping Agency, presenting his work around the world.
